My Dearest Friend,
What if I told you that before you were even formed in the belly, you were already known? Before you came out of the womb, you had already been set apart for a sacred mission. You were created with intention, with purpose, with a calling that was never accidental.
Perhaps none of this makes sense now, but hold fast to that day it will. For years, you walked through high mountains of fear and low valleys of doubt, convinced you had to keep doing to prove you were enough. You carried the weight of comparison and the sting of feeling lesser than the male gender. But you are enough. You are more than enough.
Yes, you came from a humble, single parent family. Yes, you do not have a fancy societal-approved title. You aren’t the smartest in the room, and you are certainly the least politically savvy—choosing authenticity and empathy. Yes, these choices are causing you to be lagging behind in society's definition of success but your heavenly rewards await! Your unconventional approach to corporate hierarchy, quiet humility, your servant leadership, your fierce independence, and your grounded values shall be your legacy.
Blossom in every season like the leaves on a tree. Your ability to rise again and again after every torrential rain is its own testimony. You endured criticism meant to break your spirit, yet you chose kindness instead of retaliation. You whispered to yourself, “Just keep doing good.” The people around you noticed and wondered where that inner strength came from.
Shine as a beacon of light for people. You see people and feel their struggles. Did you know they counted their blessings twice when they thought of you? Those struggles you went through formed a deeper strength. Those years of self-doubt were teaching you to listen more intently. Every setback was preparing you for something bigger than you imagined.
You were never without purpose, so be still and know this:
Be kind to yourself for you are very precious in God's sight.
Everything you need has been and will continue to be provided in abundance.
